Summary:Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif underlined the need to utilize all capacities of Iran and Ukraine to further promote bilateral ties.
According to a report by Foreign Ministry?s Diplomacy and Media Department, Zarif discussed regional and international developments as well as bilateral issues with his Ukrainian counterpart during a meeting took place on the sidelines of the ongoing 50th Security Conference in Munich, Germany.
The Ukrainian foreign minister voiced his country?s readiness to enhance bilateral ties on the basis of mutual interest.
He also said that his country?s high capacities in various sectors of energy and industry and power plants can contribute to development of economic cooperation between the two countries.
Referring to his country?s principled stance on lifting of all international anti-Iran sanctions, he hoped that Iran-5+1 Group talks will produce good results for both sides.
Zarif is in Munich to take part in the 50th Munich Security Conference.
