  6/12/2013
TEHRAN, Jun. 10 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Araqchi denied the reports claiming that protesters attacked the Iranian Embassy in Beirut on Sunday.
He said that security forces dispersed few protesters that had gathered outside the embassy.

The Associated Press quoted a senior Lebanese military official as saying that clashes have erupted outside the Iranian Embassy in Beirut between protesters opposing alleged Hezbollah’s participation in the Syrian war and unidentified locals, killing one demonstrator.

Al Jazeera also reported that an unarmed Lebanese man had been killed after two groups clashed in southern Beirut following a protest over the roles of Iran and Hezbollah in Syria.

According to the report, five others are said to have been injured in the shooting. It was not clear who started the firing.
